Don't. You will be sorry.
I've always suspected AShampoo products being dodgy and very unlikely to use them. I remembered I used one of their product, out of desperation and turned out was slightly above average - but that said - I had it removed after and of course, I always use a throwaway email address ;)
for antivirus, I've always lay my trust on
Microsoftvendor that specialises in those area…..I was using their cd burning software, looking for a replacement to Nero (which was becoming increasingly bloated), and it was non-functional. I don't remember exactly what was broken about it, but it was buggy and wasn't doing the job.
Ashampoo is also a dumb name. I wonder if they have a sister company called Aconditioner.
Ashampoo doesn't have the greatest reputation.
Better to go with an Anti-Virus product from a specialist Anti Virus company.
Free ones include Avira, AVG, Avast.
Free ones include Avira, AVG, Avast.
You might as well add Bitdefender to that list considering how often free codes are given out.
I was just working through the alphabet.
Well B naturally comes next right..
@lostn: You can keep the B's honest, if you like
Free Ashampoo
Is it ok to use on frizzy hair ?
You would end up with bugs in your hair.
might be antiviral, but is it anti-dandruff?
The amount of spam you get from them is outstanding
I've tried to unsubscribe unsiccessfully from their mailing list on an old email address many times for years now but Ashampoo still keep sending spam.
Do NOT try this product, a spam company can't possibly be trusted with anti-virus.
Thats why you make a separate spam collecting email address just for these things.
That's why you AVOID these things.
It is a separate spam-collecting email address, but I still check it occasionally and try to unsubscribe from things just to see which companies are honest. Also by using lots of different fake names it's helpful to track which companies sell your details to other companies. If I start receiving personalised emails with that fake name in the subject line, I know which company sold it.
Does it allow their own ad-ware and spam through?
