I believe new Elite units do NOT come with a HDMI cable, it says it comes with the Component HD cable though. No problem, a HDMI cable is often $5 delivered, but I don't believe it has one.
This is a great deal. Lego Indiana Jones is a very fun co-op game, don't know a thing about Kung Fu Panda though.

Went to my local DSE. No stock of this anywhere.
I got meself a xbox pro pack with Gears of War 1 + 2 and Forza. All for $349.
RRP is $449.

I had the choice of this deal with a falcon, or the Gears of war pack.. with the Pro (60gb) - Jasper console
In the end I was happy to sacrifice 60gb of space, and the HDMI cable..
for Jasper unit and Gears of War 1 and 2 (versus Kungfu panda / Indiana jones).
so if its a 08 model its the falcon system? still break it down. the hard drive is worth $120, forza 3 $80, kungfu $40 and lego $40 so thats $280 worth of goodies over the arcade from DSE so around $70 of elite console. vs arcade falcon 200 - forza 3 $80 = 120.
i'd get the elite. trade it in to EB for the 250GB COD4 pack coming out this month. :D

Lego indiana jones and kungfu panda, can be bought for $9 each at Ebgames at certain times.. there are basically worthless on the secondhand market.. because they were included in so many consoles.
Forza 3 is worth $65 tradein at EBgames (for a couple of days more)
So basically a falcon console with 120gb HDD. is $285 (no chance of getting a jasper)
If you can get the DSE $200 deal with a falcon…the console is worth $135… (even better if you get a jasper)…
Is the harddisk and hdmi/ hidef cables worth $150…? and getting a falcon..
If you are handy / tehcnically minded - the answer is no..
$15 xbox hd case from deal extreme, $65 250gb western digital notebook drive. and $15 of hidef cables from deal extreme. thats $95 tog et a 250gb hdd.and cables.. if you are happy with a non genuine unit…
Given the specials at Kmart and Gametraders.. for $100 more.. you get borderlands / or fight night round 4 and Pure / Lego batman…. and a basically guranteed Jasper.. (but no hidef cables)…
