  • Your description is for 10x25 Pocket Binoculars

  • They were $40 in the catalogue a few months ago.

  • Good price for what appears to be a reasonable pair of binos

  • -1

Are these any good though? There are a lot of crap binoculars on the market.

    Has anyone found any reviews?

  • so are they 8x or 10x?

Either way, not particularly high magnification.

    • +1

Anything higher than that and you'd probably want a tripod anyway

      • Seriously?

8x zoom isn't much. I have an 8x pair. Not quite the same, but I have a compact camera that is 12x and SLR lens that is 15x. These don't need a tripod on maximum zoom when viewing through them. The image stabilization helps for taking the actual picture though.

        • Trying to use them for a long time will wear out the arms pretty quickly IMO, so it would depend on what you're using them for I guess, but I find anything 10X or above really benefits from the use of a stable mount

  • don't think these are waterproof, didn't read anywhere on the box.

  • Very handy Binoculars, just bought the last one off from Aldi Southland VIC. The cheapest anywhere else for these are around $130.
