For those like me who have no idea what the half of the deals here are about by just looking on the title:

    Description
You will sleep better with Thunderspace because it plays thunderstorms in 3D for headphones + realistic lightning flashes. You're welcome!
Amazing film and audio demo on http://thunderspace.me
Please note: Lightning flashes currently require a camera flash. Thunderspace is a universal app and runs on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It comes with two top quality hyper-realistic thunderstorms in full length. You can buy extra storms, or get all existing and future storms in a fair priced bundle. You can disable in-app purchases in your iOS settings.
Imagine you can immerse yourself in a hyper-realistic thunderstorm any time you feel stressed, need to relax or go to bed. Thunderspace can teleport your mind to a calm place far away from home. Far away from stress. Far away from the noise.

    • You da real MVP

  • For sleep rhythms the apps twilight and f.lux are well worth a look, even for otherwise healthy people looking to improve their wellbeing.

  • An app to help me sleep?
Glass of red usually does the trick

  • Its purpose is not only to help you sleep. I find that its sometimes very soothing, even when reading a book or playing games on your phone.

  • Anyone have a good alternative for Android?

  • Try myNoise. I like that it lets you adjust the levels of the different frequency ranges, so you can effectively make the rain sound distant, or like it's hitting your roof by adjusting the bass / treble / mids. Not sure if it's free in the app store, but there's a browser version.

I didn't find Thunderspace to be particularly stereoscopic at all. Stereoscopic recordings use two microphones spaced ear width apart, which makes them super effective for close up sound because the levels are very difference depending on whee the sound comes from. A thunderstorm kilometres away doesn't have the same effect.

Again, try myNoise, much higher fidelity sound.

    • $38 IAP to unlock all sounds? This is what's wrong with apps today

      • Browser version works well

        • What's with the need for so many different apps? Seriously a web browser bookmarked at at a useful page would usually suffice.

OK apart from the fact that thunderstorms don't seem to have made me sleep ever it's also next to impossible to sleep with anything in my ears or on my head. Flashing lights, low frequency rumbling and crashing noises are suppose to make me sleep?…

Comes across like snake oil to me.

    • downloaded, listened, deleted. If users think this sounds like a real thunderstorm and can sleep with headphones on go for it otherwise dont bother. Totally agree Diji!

  • Weird that app store says all the IAP is free but in the app it's not

    • It was, I got all the IAPs for free when I tried last night.
