Using Wi-Fi, images can easily transfer from your camera to your smart devices (Andriod Operation System). You can even use your smart devices as a remote for live view function while shutter speed, aperture setting and focus points information are clearly shown for your easy control.

    As with a lot of Nikon's…. especially if you're buying one for the price of a 6D. This is for the lower models that don't have wireless built in

  I assume this only works for Nikon cameras? cant find any other info in the compatibility section.
  Also appears in some reviews it doesnt work well with IOS devices but as a workaround you need to put the iphone in airplane mode instead

  Thanks, seems to be a pretty good price so I grabbed one for my D7100, none in stock apparently so they are ordering it in for me… (she checked other stores too which didn't seem to have any)

  I think they're great, use mine quite regularly. Takes out the need for a remote shutter and good for getting photo's to your phone from the camera

    ahh was actually going to ring them today as its been quite a while for a local supplier.(over two weeks..) its a pain as I get things cheaper and quicker from the UK!

      Before it arrived, I received an email stating that the item had been shipped ("Good news! Your order is on the way"). The WU-1a arrived 4 business days later.

      Put a respirator on when you open the bag!

      I don't know how it is possible but I'm in the same boat as you. Ordering from OS is often cheaper and quicker.

        Gave them a call this morning, nope, apparently they still haven't received it from Nokia…said, ok please follow it up and give me a call back.

        get a call a few hours later… your package is now being couriered out to you…it just came in…

        magic! I happened to call the day it arrived after two weeks!
