Buying a box of Kettle Chilli Chips!!!

    • -2

The Chilli is quite popular - will it be included in the 50% off?

      • -1

come on guys dont be too harsh on him, judging by his username he probably never had a chip in his life lol

        • yeah thanks! first time post about Kettle Chilli chips - please be gentle!

Anyone feel like the Kettle chips of today don't taste as good as the kettle chips from 10 years ago? I feel like they changed the formula.

      • +1

The chilli chips were changed a few years ago. Instead of chilli it's actually paprika now.

      • +1

Yes, I LOVED!!! the kettle chilli chips from 10 years ago…

        Would eat them everyday ^_^

      • they are also don't use saturated fats anymore.

wouldn't be surprised if the species of potato is a cheaper variant too.

in summary, just the Kettle name is the same.

    • Buying a truck load.

Thankfully Kettle haven't followed Red Rock's lead and downsized.

    • +2

      You mean downsized again?

    • +2

      Wasn't Kettle 200g once?

"Premium brand" chips seem to be pretty cheap an awful lot.

  • Kettle chips are cheap :)

  • If Oak is REALLY going to drop down to $2.30… we've been getting ripped for a long time!

Not to mention, for those of us who are lactose intolerant, we will be having fun!

Kogan sells kitkats for 1c, do you really think they really "drop down" to 1 cent? And we've been ripped off for a long time?

      Tip, google loss leader.

Normal milk is $2 for 2L. The only difference with oak is miniscule amounts of chocolate flavouring. How have you not previously realised the massive markup they would have?

      • +1

I have realised, which is why 95% of the time I just add a little bit of nesquik or cadbury drinking chocolate (when it's on special) to my $2 for 2L milk instead.

      • it makes Vegans and other Do-gooders feel better about themselves if they pay more

The same people think their Prius doesn't have an exhaust pipe.

  • I would upvote for Oak 2L choc milk if I could…

    • Does Woolworths carry 2 litre Oak milk in the Strawberry flavour?

      • +1

        Believe so

      • +1

wonder if it is for $2.30 as well.

the pink milk rocks but rarely is on specials and if it is, in limited quantity per shop also.

a good alternative is pink Nesquik added to normal milk.

      • +1

My store is just ranged for Chocolate only, sorry

        • +1

I'm pretty sure mine carries Chocolate, Strawberry, Iced Coffee. Which is pretty cool. Shame yours only carries Chocolate :(

        • +2

Thanks, I'll have a look at my store during the week. I had the same problem when Coles put the Oak milk 2 litres on special. My children drink the pink milk and it seems silly to pay $3 at a milk bar for a 300ml stawberry Oak milk if I can get it at a supermarket for just over $2. Thanks for looking into it.

Get honey baked ham back on your shelves Woolworths, ffs!

  • Why don't Oak flavoured milk do an Oak flavour?

    • +4

Why don't Big M have alphabet spaghetti Ms in their milk?

  • Catalogue says Oak milk 2L is for $2.75. But this post says $2.30? Which is correct price?

    • $2.30 is the price in the Melbourne catalogue. Perhaps there is a different pricing system in Sydney for this product.

      • Oh ok. So wollies/coles still setting prices based on suburbs
