The Yirgacheffe Kochere is our newest premium Grade 1 specialty coffee from the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia. This very highly regarded coffee is well known worldwide, used and marketed by well known good roasters around the world including Melbourne, our home town.
Yirgacheffe is a well known coffee plantation in Ethiopia and in particular, the Kochere comes from the south west region called Gedeo Zone. The coffee bean variant used is the heirloom varietals grown at more than 1900 meter above sea level. In general, Yirgacheffe coffee is well known for its aromatic and exotic flavour with touch of fruitiness and perfect balance of acidity and body. This premium variant is just the perfect example of every goodness in one sip.
