Looks to be a good deal. while the resort looks pretty average (it's $275 per night if booking direct with hotel), I still think it's good value if you're into the Gold Coast scene. car hire lets you explore Gold Coast surrounds. not sure if it's airport pickup for the car. that would be good.

  It looked like a good deal to me too but it seems you got the pricing wrong. It's $329 per person quad share, $519 per person twin share.

  I would estimate the following if you book separately.

  Flights $150 return = $300 (for both people as this is twinshare)
  Car hire $60 a day= $240
  Accommodation = $189 a night = $756 for four nights (on booking.com, expedia or agoda - all about the same)
  Total = $1298 at least if you book separately.
  This deal = $658

  Trip Advisor reviews are ok. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

      Accommodation in a One-Bedroom Ocean View Apartment
      Webjet:
      Pacific Views Resort Rank #69 = $756 ($656 after $100 off)
      Artique Resort Apartments Rank #9 = $476 ($426 after $50 off)

      Return economy flights including one piece of carry-on luggage
      Jetstar:
      SYD - OOL Return : $100 x2 = $200

      Car hire for the extent of the stay in a Kia Rio (or similar)
      Alpha car hire:
      $30/day : $120

      IMO, can get better accommodation at cheaper price..

  not trying to put down your contribution and I commend you for effort. But 4 nights for $329pp isn't very cheap, especially in GC during the off-peak season. I went last February with a couple of mates, stayed in a Penthouse in Q1 for $370pp including return flights to/from sydney - GC and this was one of the more expensive options. Look around, you'll definitely find a lot cheaper options and in much better accommodation.
