    Additional Information
Always enjoy your beer at the perfect level of chill with the Beer Chiller - 2 Pack.
Easy to use and extremely practical, all you need to do is freeze the chiller for 45 minutes prior to use and the unique freezing gel within will keep your beer cool for up to an hour.
What's more, the spout on top means you don't even need to take it out to enjoy your beer!

    Who's beer lasts an hour?
Drink it quicker and you don't need to worry about keeping it cold.

    • Who says you can't use it in more than one beer? Just drink the first and transfer it into the next one? Beer tastes better the colder it is :)

To a point. Beer iceblocks don't taste too great.

        Unless you're a pom.

That's one thing I didn't enjoy when I went to London - Warm beer :(

          @zapzap1:

In fridges! They keep warm bottles of beer in lit, glass-fronted fridges!

        • "Unless you're a pom"
Unless you're a pommie poofter and then you'd need to heat your beer in a saucepan.

        • @zapzap1:

You didn't have to drink it warm. I recall it was mostly just the ales that were a bit warm, the largers were all chilled.

        • @tomsco: I went over in their winter. It was freezing! They can't have the beer as cold as we have it here otherwise due to the extreme cold it will freeze the lines - then no one gets beer!

        • +1

@zapzap1: They don't pump it from the brewery afaik. Or to put it another way - bullsh!t.

        • @Possumbly: The lines from the cellar to the tap… How does beer get to the tap? Magic? lol

        • @zapzap1:

I was over their in winter as well (was there for a couple of years). Was always able to order a chilled carlsberg from whetherspoons.

        • @tomsco: I never said it wasn't chilled. Just warmer than the beer on tap in Australia!

        • +1

@zapzap1: You're quick, no doubt about it. I could be wrong but when last I checked, pub lines were indoors not out in that "extreme cold", Brit pubs were heated, and temperatures in cellars/cold rooms were regulated - for obvious reasons.

        • @tomsco: Take his word for it, he carries his thermometer everywhere.

        • @Possumbly: I'm no expert. Just passing on what the owner of the pubs were telling me!

        • +2

@zapzap1: Over here we tell them about dropbears, and kangaroos hopping down the streets.

        • @Possumbly: drop bears never gets old lol

        • @Possumbly: Apparently the hopping is box.

        • @mathew42: yes, saw that on the news a while back. Another vid from the same area shows the mob queueing up before they start their postal deliveries: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yrRzAESRak

Beer goes off after an hour

I had a similar product and found that it wouldn't fit in standard Aussie beer bottles, just FYI!

Sorry, no deal. Cheaper to decant your cold beer into a thermos. Stays cold longer and you only need a straw, or two if sharing with a friend.

    • +12

No real man drinks beer out of a straw!

      • +1

No real man drinks Anything out of a straw!

      • Agree. Just an observation but have you ever noticed how inane ideas often come in pairs?

      • No real man drinks beer out of a straw!

Isn't this a fancy straw? IMO it's better to just remember to put the beer in the fridge (I'm sure there's an app) and use a stubby holder

As if we don't already own enough unnecessary items. What next, a plastic holder for this chiller? A carry pouch for the plastic holder? There's already enough junk around without items like this in the world! We have a responsibility to leave the world in a better place for future generations - buying crap like this won't help!

so..if I am reading you right…your order will be for less than 5 complete sets, right?

Have a beer Alison, it's Australia Day Sheila!

ahh well. Couldn't see the deal, some popup kept coming up. Checking ebay.

    • Just click off to the side and it goes away!

      • That is true but agree with Psychd…stupid web design in 2015.

    • +1

      Don't forget CBACK2SCHOOL

  • Too many popups…

  • used these before. Don't work. Ones I had claimed to chill a beer from room temp. Attempted this. Cooled it about 5 degrees.
