    Great prices for the Z523 & Z200.

  • Definitely going to pricematch this at my local Officeworks!

Edit: when you add postage, the 5% price-beat basically disappears.
    Example $102 MX800 Keyboard/Mouse set + $4.95 delivery = $106.95 total - 5% = $101.60 at Officeworks…. $0. 40 cent saving!!! Would work well if your local has run out of stock.

    • wait why would you have to add postage?

From my understanding, OW will price-match the DELIVERED price (as that's what it'd cost to buy the item from X store in the OW shop itself).

        • +1

Oh ok because I always thought that OW would only add delivery if the store was online only or the closest store was not within a reasonable distance.
I've price matched JB a few times and they have never added delivery.

        • @Glozza210: If you are right (and I hope you are) that'd bring down the MX800 keyboard set to just over $97. Win!

          @yojabbajabba:

Yeah I have done the same, generally if you can show a price from a location (at worst) in the same city as you, they will match the "pickup" price, minus 5%, even if you had no intention of driving to the other side of town to pick it up.
For the bigger chains, JB, Good Guys, Harvey's etc they will beat it by 5% no questions asked generally.

        • Some time ago I had them price match JB on an advertised price that was online only (you had to pay shipping). The checkout chick was about to add shipping charges to it, but her manager said no. If the retailer is in the same area (they were next door) they don't add shipping when doing the price guarantee. Even though in my case, there was no way I could just walk into JB and get it for that price.

  • Damn just picked up the Logitech 950t yesterday..oh well extra KB&M won't hurt :D

  • JB has the M950 (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/accessories/logi…) for $87.20

Anyone know if this is worth it?

For another $15, you get the keyboard too. So easy decision for me …

not much point to me since im using the mac keyboard. but yes, if i was a windows user, i can see your point

    • That mouse was $68 a few days ago @ dse, I posted it as a deal

      • and i missed out…… :(. forgot about it when i got home

  • Thanks! Great timing. I was about to order the Logitech 950T on Mon from MSY for $118; bonus is that I can pick up from a JB HIFI store nearby vs MSY, which is a bit of a drive.

  • The MX800 is even better price than the MSY one. Now I feel bad for myself.

The MX800 for the past 2 years has proven to be the most durable and high quality wireless combo set I've owned; I'd recommend it to anyone especially at this price.

sure neg me for sharing my personal experience with others regarding this set.

    • Logitech quality has gone downhill in my opinion. Had a K800 for perhaps 6 years and recently got a second one to use at my office and you can definitely feel the difference in key actuation. The prefect stroke system is not so "perfect" anymore. I've since moved on to the G700s from the M950, so can't say anything about that, but I must admit, the M950 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

Still, that said, at this price, the combo is a good buy. I just wish their quality was what it used to be.

  • For delivery, can someone let me know whether JBHifi uses AU Post or Courier? Thanks.

Z523's price seems pretty good. Anyone owns one can give a comment please. How it compares to Z506 (although I know this one is 5.1)

Decided to pick up MX800 and Z523 to save $9.90 (Unlike DSE, JBHifi charges $4.95 for each item). Thanks OP.

  • Just saw this and the Logitech z623's for $119 look very tempting!

I want to get the Logitech z623's (2.1 setup) and connect it to my TV. I have a Samsung UA6400 LED 3D TV, which apparently has 3 types of audio out:

    ●● ARC (Audio Return Channel)
    ●● Digital Audio (Optical)
    ●● Audio Out

I also have a Topfield PVR that is connected to the TV via HDMI.

What I am wondering is if I connect the Logitech speakers to the TV via the green audio out option will I be able to control the volume via the TV remote or will I have to walk over to the speakers and adjust the volume every time I need too?

Is there some way I can get around this limitation if it exists?

These are lower power but are only $69 at Dicksmith:

Maybe they would work out better and let me control the volume remotely?

Thanks got a set of logitec keyboard & mouse combo (further 5% off by purchasing woolies egift voucher via et book then buying $100 jb HiFi voucher plus mebank 5% paywave rebate for the balance $2.40)

  • Lol @ New post pulling out my deals and reposting them

  • Strangely I noticed the Logitech range was labelled as only having 20% off in store. Must be a net deal only perhaps? Anyway thanks to mis-labelling, the Westfield Mt Gravatt store still had about 4 in stock this afternoon when I picked mine up. Thanks Op.

  • Paid by JBhifi Gift card on Saturday night for in-store pickup. My order now still shows "In Progress".

Rang Melbourne, Bourke St store. The lady said it hasn't come up on their system. The payment is probably still pending.

This is not paid by Credit card. How come it takes so long to be processed?

Anyone with experience paying by their Gift card? Thanks!

  • Paid $100 by giftcard, $2.40 via paypal last night. My order is ready for pick up already.

  • got the mx800 to replace my mx5500. abit annoyed with the new mx800 mouse though. on the old mx5500 mouse when u flick the wheel harshly when scrolling it goes into hyperscroll (ie smooth roll) and when you start to slow the wheel down (ie get to the part of the website ur looking for) the wheel goes back to normal scroll mode(ie 3 lines at a time). The new mouse doesnt have this feature. It only either has 100% hyperscroll 100% normal scroll sigh
