  • Ugh, why can't this and the Xiaomi Redmin2 go and have a baby already!

This is only really for those on Telstra and happy with 3G only… If you are paying for Telstra, I doubt you'd be happy with the slower 3G network.

    • +1 on the first line

Anyone on Telechoice/ALDI/Boost (ie quite a lot of OzBargainers) would be quite happy to not have to pay (in both cash and battery life) for a 4G modem.

For mine, the big problem with this handset is lack of microSD slot..

      • Am I missing something? Specs show that the second SIM slot doubles as a TF (micro SD) slot??

        • Cool. I either missed that or the site I looked at when it first came out missed it.

      • SIM Card Slot the other is Micro SIM slot, One is SIM slot, Dual Standby, Dual SIM
        TF Card Slot Yes

  • Nowadays 4G (LTE) is pretty important. Not just speed. . latency as well. /
Would've been a great deal to start off 2013.

  • Ulefone Be Pro is better IMO with LTE for US$149.99 with $20 off coupon: WALSMKIV at Geekbuying

    • if you don't value extra size or LTE, are there other benefits?

      • +1
        • promised Lillipop OTA
        • likely faster (newer) CPU & GPU < I haven't checked benchmarks, so don't hold me to that.
        • don't value LTE? I don't understand this statement ;)
        • thanks. I am with telechoice so will not get any value out of LTE (not that I don't value it as a feature)

Hmmm 1.5GHz quad core (Be Pro) Vs 1.4GHz Octa core(X9). I assumed Octa core would win.

        • @pvergers: 64bit v 32bit… & GPU has 16 cores v 8 cores…
for everyday use probably little to no difference.

  • +1
