Just found this on the website of a Coffee I drink a lot.
Free double movie passes if you are one of the first 500 each week.
I know this deal doesn't suit all here but for those who drink a lot of coffee I guess it's an added bonus. :)

Yes it means six tickets but it also means you need to have purchased the product 3 times. You could but for extended family too??? :)
Haha, it might save on postage, though. XD -lazy- Have you tried the instant range? I picked up a cappucino, was wondering whether the mocha was any good, though..
I had the cappuccino also, I liked it. One complaint I do have though and this goes for all instants in a pack, they always say 150ml??? I'm sure an average coffee mug is larger than 150ml, why don't they make it to suit a coffee mug.
i wonder when a week officially starts. Would be worth reading the TnC fine print and checking ;) then log on a 12.01
Competition opens 12:00AM Thursday closes 11:59PM Wednesday. Your purchase also needs to be between those hours to be a valid entry.
Apparently, you would need to take your netbook to the place where you are going to purchase it at 12:00am on a Thursday, make the purchase and then enter straight away lol. Ummm, I love freebies but I don't think I would personally go to that extreme :)
I emailed customer relations to clarify whether or not the tickets can be used during the school holidays. I got this as a reply
"The tickets are restricted and cannot be used during school holidays or public holidays. They can only be used Monday to Thursday and have six months expiry date."
So technically as it takes a month for you to receive the tickets, it'll almost be the start of school holidays. It's ok, we can mass save up tickets and then gorge ourselves with the new flicks of 2010 [ but we'll have to wait till February though =( ]
Well done, I didn't even think about that. You'd probably need some free stuff after the holiday period anyway after spending so much money.
I'm not submitting any more until I get the first batch…so if anyone's received any, a comment on how long it took would be appreciated! =)
it should take a month from when first submitting
I got an email from them saying my double passes are on their way. Riva gets a thumbs up for communication. =)
Also noticed that this deal is marked expired; the passes are actually available every week all the way up to next year, so perhaps someone could change the expiry? "Promotion runs weekly…to 31/3/10"
Good to hear.
I just updated the date.
Update: Received my off-peak 2x Screen Savers today! Hooray! So it took just under a month. Gonna get more coffee, ohoho~~
Oo, nice find. Week starts today too, and they even have a counter counting how many are left. ^^ Price seems to be around 5 dollars. (3 flavours of instant coffee)
For those interested in T&C, first 500 to claim definitely get a GU off-peak double pass; just need to register and spend postage to send proof (photocopied receipt or something) in.
"Each movie pass will remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of issue (as indicated on the movie pass) and must be used at a participating Greater Union, Village, Birch Carroll & Coyle and Event Cinemas. Movie passes are only redeemable Monday to Thursday (excluding school & public holidays). The movie passes are not redeemable Friday through to Sunday, and are not redeemable for Gold Class or other special seating or for special events or screenings."
BUT if you aren't one of the first 500 but have bought Riva coffee that week, you can enter the second chance draw; 100 people from that pool will ALSO get free tickets.
It also says 3 claims a household allowed a week…so does that mean we can get up to 6 tickets? ._. Has anyone tried? XD
