Much better, also much better than Sistema, never had any leak for us. Think it's been mentioned on Ozbargain.com.au before and highly rated.
these are airtight. Fill them with water, turn them upside down and you won't have any leakage.
They are great for keeping smells within, such as garlic stored in the fridge.Yeah Lock and Lock stuff is A1.
Hi OP, did you find any bargains?
If anyone is interested, a test on food containers: http://thesweethome.com/reviews/the-best-food-storage-contai…, unfortunately Lock and Lock wasn't tested.
Info on how everything is potentially harmful for health: http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/03/tritan-certic…These are BPA free if anyone is interested

http://www.locknlock.com.au/bisfree-container-rectangle-1l-3…But they glass also if you are going BPA free
http://www.locknlock.com.au/euro-glass-set-5-pieces.htmlYep the linked containers are Tritan-Copoylester which could be just as harmful towards health as regular BPA. The lids of some glass containers from some companies are made of the same stuff. Pretty much everything is dangerous.
from: http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/03/tritan-certic…
"Even as the industry crafted defensive talking points, some companies began offering BPA-free alternatives. But they often didn't bother testing them for other potentially toxic compounds or synthetic hormones. Nor did they have to: Under US law, chemicals are presumed safe until proven otherwise, and companies are rarely required to collect or disclose chemical-safety data."
That is pretty much how it is and nothing can be done about it. We are the beta testers/guinea pigs, this applies to lots of things e.g. software - updates, xbox - red ring of death.Given the choice between the new Tritan-Copoylester and the old polypropylene (could also be harmful to health), I would personally stick to the old which has been used for ages and is still used in food packaging. Although both could be harmful, better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. Some of the other Lock n Lock containers are made from BPA free polypropylene. Even safer to get the glass ones, with only the lid being potentially harmful towards health. Pretty much everything is dangerous.
Well they offer glass too. Its heavier but its glass, its inert.
are they better than decor?
