      No, Xbox Live Gold codes don't have an expire date(only trial codes do). Please keep in mind you can use the code now even if you have an existing Xbox Live Gold subscription(12 months will be added to your existing period).

        Better not make that "you can use the code now" suggestion too lightly. If I did that I'd be wasting most of it.

          Why you say wasting? It will extend your current subscription with a total of 12 months, so if you have 5 months remaining you will have 17 months after you add the code.

          @daerka: You are right, they can only be stacked for 3 years. Sorry for not taking that into consideration. So you shouldn't have more then 2 years remaining of your existing Live Gold membership.
