Was looking for a steam iron and came across this:
PHILIPS GC7520 Instant Care Pressurised Steam Generator
2400 watts, 4.5 bar pressure, up to 120g/min continous steam, 1 litre water tank, vertical steam.
This is an older model but at $129 this is a good deal.

For an extra $20 I'd take the GC7635 over GC7520. More steam pressures, larger and see-through water tank.
For anyone who is considering these, I have to give it a big thumbs up.
I bought it to do my work shirts and pants to save a bit of time and it does actually save a considerable amount. I can do a business shirt in half the time of a normal iron.
I wish I'd bought one sooner. This one does have adjustable heat and I ironed a polyester item the other day and I felt it 'grab' as if it was about to stick/burn, but hit the steam and pulled away and no mark or shine left. Turned the heat down and finished it a moment later and it was ok, but I know some others don't have heat control - not sure if that's better or worse.
Either way, I am an advocate for the steam age!
