  • charges me shipping

    • USD$2.49 shipped = USD$1.30(item) + USD$1.19(shipping fee)

  • How long do these things last?!

    • -1

It will illuminate after water flows down.

    • "The deal survives 4 days" …double meaning perhaps?

Read the description in the link. 10/10

I have one of these. It's cute, but so flimsy it would fall off as soon as I fitted it to any mains pressure tap. Useless crap.

    • It fits on most taps, but the right connector diameter is very important.
Choose a correct size faucet light depending on your taps, or it would be crap.

The diameter doesn't make any difference. I ordered one from you guys previously and the it came along with the adapters as well to fit the faucet size. It installed perfectly without water flowing through it, but AU mains power has higher pressure than most countries, and it stayed there for 10-15 days at most. Can't properly screw the adapter in tightly since it's plastic, so that didn't help either.

        • Exactly…They are not built to last…See my comments down below…buyer beware.

        • I just reread my post…I shouldn't be in-front of keyboards after 9pm…
          'and the it came…' wtf?
'AU mains power'…..err…you mean AU mains water.
          :)

  • Just brought two of them… $5 delivered. Hoping they work and help my son learn about hot and cold.

  • Looks like it belongs in True Blood

When's the last time you turned the tap on in the dark?

    • +1

But wait, NOW YOU CAN! :)

  • +2

Ordered a blue one and a red one so my taps can look like lightsabers.

I seriously don't want to sound disgusting but this seriously reminds me of the time when I had too much beetroot… I panicked so much that day.

Ok, I bought one of these (not from this seller) and can tell you the following:

    1. once screwed in, it restricts flow of water. Since the LED is powered by a turbine wheel.
    2. Due to turbine wheel, you will notice a slight whizzing noise on full open.
    3. The thing is bright and annoying. When you are washing dishes (yes I have a dishwasher also) or washing veggies, be prepared to be distracted.
    4. My one lasted 2 days and stopped working, I think my water pressure was too much for the poor plastic turbine wheel to handle. So in the bin it went. Never again…

My 2 cents. The ones this seller is selling may be a great experience for you.

Great! Now I can illuminate my faucet when I get home from work at Walmart after walking down the sidewalk to my condo. I might also get one for my Mom and Pop. I hope it lasts and it doesn't end up in the trashcan or the dumpster. If it does, aw shucks I'll just eat some candy from the drugstore. Trying to work out if this is a good deal by doing the math. I wonder if they accept checks? Y'all have a good time now on YankBargain.

    • Bahahaha that was awesome. :)

Pennypacker, for that brilliant analysis, you win the Internet today. You stepped up to the plate and hit a home run, that's for sure! :D

"You have screwed me again, Pennypacker!"

  • Ordered two but didn't get any email confirmation. Anyone has the same problem?

  • Wouldn't a copper based, ie. metal one be more durable? Can get them on eBay for less than $5, for example:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Temperature-Sensor-3-Color-RGB-LE…

  • I bought 2 of them. One of them can't stand the water pressure and falling off. I can't put back in as the plastic part was broken. The second one is doing fine until now. I was so upset with the quality.
