$5 Coles/Woolworths/IGA/Foodland Gift Card for Purchasing 4 Specially Marked Kelloggs Cereals

340

Saw this in Coles today. Great deal if you eat cereal - I saw the larger boxes of Sultana Bran, Just Right, Nutri Grain and Crunchy Nut on sale for $5 each.

Simply purchase any FOUR specially marked Kellogg's products (from any supermarket) to be eligible for either a Coles, Woolworths, or IGA/Foodlands gift card. Promotion closes 8/3/15. One redemption per household.

The codes are printed inside each specially marked box of cereal. All you have to do is enter the 4 codes online on the linked website, and the card will be sent within a few weeks if the codes are valid.

What does this mean??? 'card will be sent within a few weeks if the codes are valid' are some of the codes not valid?

    • The codes aren't validated on the spot. Its just a bunch of plain textfields. That was the message I got after filling in the online form.

    • someone could open up the boxes and type in the codes

and then you buy a box and call them to complain that the code you tried is used.

They wont have proof - you do so their code could be made invalid .

      • All four boxes?
        For $5 dollars?

        • If you are a teen worked in a shop on $12 a hour - $5 for 2 minutes work isnt that bad .

This $5 cash back deal is valid on the large and small boxes of cereal. But the large ones at Coles are not as large as the large boxes at Woolworths. SO be careful when comparing price "per box"

  • Is this really that good of a deal? It's like you're getting $1.25 off each cereal box but you are locked into buying certain brands and amounts to get that and then you have to ****fart about with codes to realise this mega-saving … is there also handing over of information for marketing purposes as well when you redeem those codes?

  • It's Kellogg's. They ALREADY have all your information!

  • Woolies currently have the Crunchy Nut & Just Right 650g varieties on special for $5. With the $5 giftcard, it makes it $0!
