It's partition software. If you expect a full system backup, then buy backup software !
I'm not sure if it's fair to neg a product down because it makes a false statement. I agree with you calling this BS, but if the software does a solid job and is as good as GParted (or can partition in real-time), then why would you neg it?
I don't know the product, so I won't comment either way. But … according to this page, it's quite well rated,
http://download.cnet.com/Macrorit-Disk-Partition-Expert-Free…FYI. One of the negatives someone listed was "It's very powerful for partition". Maybe it has too much power.
Neg because it's WORTHLESS software, which is not a bargain. It offers absolutely nothing that can't be achieved with free software. It's like a deal for "Free" toilet paper with use of their public restroom, usually $10. Even though every other public restroom offers it for free in the first place.
Poor reason to neg.
By your logic you'd neg every free software deal since there's often freeware alternatives.
For instance, do you neg all the anti-virus or backup software deals like bit defender or easeus and others ?? There's free alternatives to them too.
Zero risk? So this does a full system backup too? Any system operation ALWAYS has a risk. What can this do that the free GParted on the SystemRescueCd can't do?
