I do most of these are actually really good deals however, I haven't checked against the price for everything though.

Be warned, if you pick up Bayonetta for $6 you're more than likely up for another $400 or so when you have to buy a Wii U to play Bayonetta 2 (because you'll totally want to and it'll be worth it).

    • Was expecting a comment on WiiU due to Bayonetta being in the title and can deny the validity of your statement. Bayonetta is an average game with a poop story (in my opinion). I didn't once consider buying it for my WiiU.

      • Agreed, Bayonetta was pretty average (imho). Play Heavenly Sword instead if that's your style of gameplay better story and characters. I believe they are making another one (not sequel, just same style) called Hellblade. That too suffers from the 'up for another $400' when it comes out on presumable current gen consoles. Not many games I'm looking forward too, but Hellblade is top of the list.

        • Hellblade and The Order for me. I'll take a look at Bloodborne before deciding. Didn't enjoy what I played of it at EB Expo.

        • Heavenly Sword had an ok story, and was a solid game for its time but doesn't hold up well today. Hellblade will be interesting to see if they have learned the lessons of the last 7-8 years. I'll wait for reviews, though.

        • @Where's_That_Cake:

Bayonetta is average yet the order is what you are looking forward to? I am glad you said in your opinion :)

        • @Dany34: I'm sorry I didn't realise you'd gotten a copy of The Order already or had played any other game in its series. Do tell us how it is champ!

yeah, Bayonetta 2 is overrated, whoever praising their 1080p gaming experience on the Wii U must never played a PS3/Xbox360. The only thing full-hd in Wii-U are the video prologues, as soon as you start your gameplay, the screen turns into last century type with minuscule character, this is the same with their other "critically acclaimed" titles such as Wonderful 101, monster hunter U.

Bayonetta 1 and 2 are great. The PS3 version of Bayo 1, not so much! Those games (along with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1/2 and DMC HD collection/DMC4 if we're talking PS3) trounce Heavenly Sword from a gameplay mechanics perspective.

That said, any true Ozbargainer knows that the price of a Wii U at the moment is far too high. Not when they could be had for under $200 over a year ago. There will surely be more "fire sales" so if you are interested in a Wii U wait it out!

        • I know taking a shot at kotaku is the in thing, but… http://kotaku.com/5946442/turns-out-bayonetta-on-ps3-was-a-m…

      • I deny the validity of your statement and say it's a pretty good above average action game with an enjoyable story and cast.

        • I deny your denial.

  • Tales of Xillia/Graces f for $22.95
    wow

these two games I must have paid $100 combined. But I have to get Japanese/Asia copies to have Japanese voices

Bayonetta for the PS3 is a travesty and probably the game with the greatest disparity between the two consoles, it was a port done by Sega after the team had built the game for 360 and thus whilst the 360 version runs at 60 FPS with occasional dips, the PS3 ranges between 20-36 FPS. On top of that, the load times for the PS3 are horrendous (collecting items from treasure chests had no load times at all on the 360, whereas on the PS3 it would take a few seconds to load up the item description and picture) and texture quality is also downgraded. Just a warning if you're about to pick it up, would say the same thing about Shadow of Mordor on the 360/PS3 as well.

    • Very true. I watched a friend play it on X360 and went out and bought it on PS3. Returned the next day because I would miss dodges due to the inconsistent frame rate and it had blander graphics.
For $6 though, if you can't get it on X360 or WiiU, it's worth a shot.

If you're still rocking PS3 and haven't played inFamous (or however Sony capitalise and don't capitalise its individual letters) then you're in for an absolute treat nabbing all three for $17.51. It puts the bargain in OzBargain! ;)

  • Picked up the golf club on PS4 for $19.97. Down from $52. Meant to be a quality golf game if you enjoy more realistic sim style gameplay. Nor for those who like the automation of tiger woods games.

  • Just found out the playstation allstar battle royale is free for ps vita. Not sure if it has something to do with my cross buy ps3 version but anyone care to try and please report back

    • +1

      yeah, it's cross buy

    • Its a horrible game on ps3.. Got in in a two for one deal and traded it back lol

      • I liked it better than Smash Bros tbh.
