Nintendo NEW 3DS Coverplate No 11 - Wood $17 (Was $40) @ JB Hi-Fi

70

Nintendo NEW 3DS coverplate No 11 (Wood) was only $17 at JB Hi-Fi. These normally go for around $40 with the cheapest price I have seen so far being $39 at Target.

I am not sure if it is a mistake though as the staff seemed surprised. Good luck to anyone who can get it for the same price as I have uploaded a receipt.

a cover plate for 1/5th the price of the console itself? isn't it just a piece of plastic??

    • you have to pay the nintendo tax on it.

    • I can understand a nintendo character, but wood? No chance at any price for plastic wood for me..

From the looks of the corner of it, it seems to have Mario enemies and items on it. Plastic Wood Mario B-listers? I'll take 4, please!

Bullet Bill and Boo are NOT B-listers!

@blahman: Fine! :( is "Brick block" a B-lister, at least?

        • +1

          @FrankMcFuzz:
Brick-blocks are just under-appreciated. They are taken for granted and only missed when you realised you needed to keep it to reach that beanstalk!

    • ryudo222, Where can I buy a New 3DS for $85?

      • He meant the RRP.

  • My crystal ball says Nintendo will release a New 3DS XL v2 late this year which will also support face plates.

    • Can you please post where and how much is your crystal ball as a deal?

      • Visited a gypsy and pilfered it when she wasn't looking.

    • Will they actually increase the resolution or just resize the pixels so we can see them better? :/

      • It's the same unit, just with face plates. Definitely no increase in resolution.

Nintendo is doing the once a year refresh. New 3DS has face plates, 3DS XL doesn't because they were saving it for the next refresh.

  • good price.
they did the same mistake at Big W but none of the ones I went to even sold it.
