Seems hit and miss on the quality control though…
good to know that the one we bought last week is easily replaced.
I saw TGG extended warranty cost $10 (for an extra year, or $15 for 2). Says it covers "most breakdowns including many caused by general wear & tear" and apparently, automatic replacement for products under $250. Reading reviews I think most people don't expect this unit to last more than a year. Paying extra $10 to get a new unit if it stops working after 1 year sounds ok to me..?
DEFINATELY get the extended warranty on this!!! Take the $15/2 years!!! The quality control seems to be lacking, I get the feeling this is a special Christmas price so would probably go back up in the New Year.
Should reasonably expect it to run 2years without feeling the need to buy an ext warranty:
