That's why I went into the Store to check and it's Made in Germany
Even better .. I wonder why they have it as local on the web page tho …:-/
tbh, regardless of where it's brewed, it will still taste nicer than any australian lager.
Disagree
This will be part of my last payment to DM using AMEX to get the $50 credit. Any other recommendation to fill the rest $11.10?
Chips always go good with beer
Do they sell chips at DM? Didn't know that !
My local has a big barrel full of the "pork" chips with a sign that says "Diet Starts Tomorrow" I still smile when I see it..
A few cans of Woodstock for the drive to work.
Did the same thing … I added a bottle of Prosecco for $12 …
Picked up a slab of this yesterday - didn't realise it was deal worthy but can confirm it is the real stuff (brewed in Germany) and that six of them went down well today :-)
my local has had the imported becks and stella for $37.99 for the past 4 months :D
picked this up 2 days ago for $36.95 from Dan Murphy's.
Check out the food match…… Match it with a curry or fried food!
Umm maybe German beer German food? Pork knuckle, etc
How do you get 5% off the gift card?
Entertainment book
RAA membership
For anyone into real imported beer, I recommend investing in a Costco membership. They have real stella, peroni & peroni red, becks and a few others. Most of the imports are about $37.90 and have a long expiry until September 15.
For those who have the entertainment book. You can purchase the big w 7.5% egift deal mention here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/172639
Works fine at dan murphys since it really just a wish card and not specific to big w.You can have 2 cases for $78 at woolworth online and use the $20 off code.
But WO have the UK brewed ones not the German brew.
It may have a sticker - but the site itself says brewed locally?? I'd be polite to a cabinet minister if one of them could arrange an import of the Haake Beck - it may be lower alcohol but I like a bit more hop with my English spring barley malt .. :-)
