  Yep, this works, got my code via email. The email you use doesn't have to be the same as the one you use on PSN.

  Got this as well. Note that after you get the first email, you must click on a link in it to verify the email and you get your code straight away.

  You can redeem the code on PC from the SOE online portal. Was also a good opportunity to review what games I had under my various accounts… didn't realise I had Little Big Planet portable. I should really get a Vita to play it as well as NFS Most Wanted from the other week.

  Thanks mate, been meaning to practise the old 日本語. I think if you set your PS3 to Japanese you can play the game with Japanese audio and maybe subs (still downloading atm). Good way to while away the summer and study hard at the same time!

  I got my product code this morning, and the email states:
  "download expiration date of the product code that was distributed in this campaign will be until December 24, 2014 (Wed) 23:59. You will not be able to download "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light" after this date. (For those downloaded in due time you can play is not limited to the expiration date)."

  I've redeemed it onto my JP account, but I'm currently away so I can't access my PS3 until January… But under the "games" section in my account, there is no expiry on the game. Wonder if I can still actually download it, or whether it will expire…?

    Thanks for posting this, I was going to ask the question. Would be nice if someone could answer if it expires after you redeemed it.

    I would imagine its like those "deals" that used to happen on the Play Store where instead of offering the app for free, they released a new app for a limited time and then deleted it after the set time.

      A bit old now, but I am only just now downloading Lara Croft onto my PS3. I just linked up a new account on my PS3 to the JP PSN account, go to [Download List], and there it was, still available to download! (currently downloading, at 5%)

      So to answer your question, it still works!

  Thanks OP redeemed and now downloading. Having now clue how to read Japanese, I'm lucky I didn't go and accidentally reset my whole PS3.

    While in the jps psn go to the 2nd from the bottom and enter the 12 digit code. Highlight the down arrow and press x. 2.35gb

      It's easier to redeem the code on the online portal… can use Google Translate in Chrome. Of course, navigating to the download section on Jap PSN is still a challenge for those who can't read Japanese.
