  • 500mAh? How long it can fly?

Just a quick warning - I ordered mine Nov 21st and still hasnt arrived….

    • +2

      Same…

    • batteries + cheap shipping option + china = long wait

      • +1

Funnily enough batteries have already arrived. And it comes from the netherlands, not China….

    • +1

      Mine too.

One part of my order page says my order has been shipped.

But the progress bar suggests the item is still 'order processing'.

When quizzed about the status of the order, they told me it had been shipped.

But then when looking at the tracking with the Netherlands Postal service (???) their is no such Tracking details.

Dealing with this company is risky.

Yeah, I was worried about whether or not I'd get the SJ4000 WIFI from them but it got delivered after 30 days. The tracking is pretty useless but I got excited and felt better when it did eventually show "the item is on transport to the country of destination". Make sure to enter your RS tracking number at www.postnl.post, not postnl.com/.nl.
Even now, though, the latest tracking message is "arrived in the country of destination" even though it's been 3 weeks since receipt of the package.

        • Hey thanks so much for your help.

I can't believe GearBest can F up a link on its template to all customers.

Unfortunately, upon looking, its shows more GearBest incompetence.

I made the order on the 20th November, the item arriv from them to the Postal sorting centre on the 11th December. 21 days to get to the delivery centre.

          Well done GearBest.

        • It just occurred to me that maybe they overland their products from CN to NL (the old Silk Route?) and post it from there. There could be any number of reasons for doing this but it would explain why it took so long between your order and its arrival at PostNL.

        • @tsunamisurfer: Its not just the likes of gearbest. I ordered some stuff from sportsdirect.com in the UK and its been sitting in their warehouse for over a week awaiting courier pick up.

Order now to get it by Christmas…..2015.

When you consider the 5min flight time between recharges I am not surprised we've had to wait so long.

    • same

  • ? Be Careful… Item states Syma X5C-1 (which is upgraded one) but remaining site were about Syma X5C which is unstable old version. I had one similar one unstable hardly stay in air…

  • I got mine yesterday and ordered it in the last deal… Only used it for 5 mins but it seems awesome so far.

I also ordered 5 spare batteries from that other site linked to in the original deal.

  • Go recharge or you will have to order another ha ha ha ha

  • i thought you could hook those things up to your phone and view the video as you fly the thing no?

    • +1

You'll be looking for the FPV (first person view) versions in order to do that.

      Like this or this

      • thanks yea that's it, I reckon they are a better choice so you at least see what you're recording, rather than shoot and pray :)
