  • Oven safe to 500ºF but not dishwasher safe ??

    • +2

Nope, it's not recommended to place any cookware with non-stick coating in the dishwasher. Modern dishwashers are prone to peel that off at some point and you would end up with regret. I am not entirely sure how Circulon cookware end up in the dishwasher even though they are labeled as dishwasher safe.

        Good info! Thanks :)

  • coming up as 591.60 for me. Even with the 15% off it's still more than 500.

    • Comes up as $502.80 for me

    • Correct $502.80 is the right price after applying all discounts. I bought this off Macy's and for some reason they have only charged me $470 on PayPal saying there is another $30 discount included! I will update you about the final payment amount. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too late to get the deal by then.

      • Did the $30 discount only show up when you got to PayPal page? As in once you log in etc?

I don't see any further 30 discount on mine :( tried going through checkout

        • Yep, $30 discount only showed up when my PayPal account got charged through Macy's Borderfree. Doesn't show anywhere else.

        • @behzadm:

Hmm, weird I didn't get any discount on mine. what shipping did you choose? DHL?

        • @lemoo: Hmmm, I just noticed that Macey's has mailed the bonus 3 piece set for which they have deducted the $30 outstanding amount. ;) So, the total $502.80 is correct. Anyway, the 11 piece set got delivered today and it looks awesome. Funnily, the copper layer at the bottom of each cookware needs to be immersed in hot water/baking soda for 20 min to remove its storage protective layer before use.

    3% cash back as well

  • Compared to this deal (which I bought) it looks pretty expensive to me.

Obviously, that's because that set only has 4 hard-anodized non-stick pots and pans + 2 lids in it compared to 8 pieces + 6 lids you get in this deal. ;)
But, if you have no use for that many pieces, that's another story. :)

      • Uhm…. not sure how you are counting.
That deal had 4 pots and pans, and a very good knife set.
This deal has 6 pots and pans, no knifeset, and costs more than two times as much.

        • it comes with additional free

          3-qt. covered sauteuse
          10" open skillet

        • With the bonus set you get 1 stockpot, 2 saucepans, 3 fry pans (one is a huge 14"/35cm with lid), 2 2.8 lit saute pans (8 in total) with 6 SS lids. No knife set though :( The size/shape of the 2 saute pans (both come with lids) are quite handy for people who are into stews/casseroles/curries.

The SS steamer on the deal you mentioned should be of good quality as is expected of Anolon, but SS steamer is something you can get your hands on elsewhere and does not really count towards sweetening a deal. :) All in all, it's been a very good deal price and quantity wise.

        • @behzadm: Ah, I see. Did not notice the free pans. That's pretty good then, especially because frying pans of that size are usually not included.
These pans look great, and the handle does not get overly hot.

  • Thinking about buying this.. Anyone know about good quality kitchenware for home cooking? Review wise this looks good..

Depends how you cook. I think these are better than Scanpan (I have both), but even the Analon ones do not handle high-heat, and develop a black layer you cannot get rid of.

      • Use a tad of vinegar, pour some water over and heat it up on stove. Use a wooden spatula to scrape off the black charred sediment gently. Poof, it's gone.

        • Thanks, I'm going to try that :)
I had tried with boiling water, which did absolutely nothing.

I've had an Analon set for more than 10 years and it's been great. I'm a dreadful cook and burn lots of stuff and the pots have held up well. It's only recently that I've thought about needing to replace it. Will definitely buy Analon again.

  • theres free shipping??? is that applicable to this deal only or macys sitewide
