Ive gone through to book on a Saturday and it comes up with $255 for the Cafe option without entering a code at all. How is the offer less than half price with the code? Shouldn't the normal price be more than $320 if your discount is real? Bit dodgy sorry

I think you missed the point of my post. Your post states less than half price accommodation plus free Cafe breakfast. Please show me where your regular rack rate is $320 or more, or change your original post so it is not misleading.

Rooms are there to be booked at $160 per/night with Breakfast.
The full rate or rack rate for a room with breakfast for two people is $450 per/night at 30 Arundel( stated on the booking page). $160 p/n is less then half price….. We don't only offer a great deal on this platform but do so directly form our website also. We also offer good rates to companies and regular customers.
I can understand you might look at the 30 Arundel website see the very cheap prices and look at the offer posted here and think its not that much cheaper, but it is - the offer here over rides all rates for all dates in the offer period regardless of the price quoted on line. If you can find a cheaper rate on our website then book it without the code, you are still winning.
I hope the explains the proposition better.
I think there is 2 issues that people here are a bit aggrieved about.
1) People see that you have just signed up today. Which means that you haven't been part of the community or contributed to the community and have signed up to get publicity for your own business.
2) You claimed that the prices were under half price. When comparing prices to non code prices it was found to not be half price. OzBargain folk are a fickle bunch. Whilst people here love bargains, they appreciate transparency most of all. If you are going to claim half price, it better be half price.

It seems a lot of members here, love to bargain bash.
If you are happy to buy the bargain at the bargain price, who cares about the original price.
eg I just bought a 5c for $399.00 it's on special atm, if I bought two months ago I would of paid $549.00. If I sell my 5c ($399.00) for $350 people would complain not much of a bargain but if I sold the other 5c ($549) for $400 people would be saying great bargain.
To the business owner, ozbargainers don't care about before prices, just hit us with the deal, if you are providing the best price for accommodation in freo, it's a bargain.

Recently stayed at Arundel Street myself - cant remember the name of the place. Only the fact that it was across the road from an amazing bottle shop.
Those looking to stay in Freo for a night or so - I can recommend at least recommend the area, lovely short walk to all the sights that Freo offers
