it costs $5.95 to send a giftcard??? for which the postage would be at most 70c??
how much discount on the westfield cards?
The other day when they sold these cards for $30 at deals.com.au, postage was only $2.95! What a rip, $5.95 postage for a card.. that's almost as bad as AusPost adding the $ amount to their gift cards as a service fee.. and EB selling $20 of Steam wallet funds for more than $20.
EB price their gifts cards in accordance with the dollar. You're paying Australian dollars for a U.S. based steam wallet fund.
Ah didn't realise or forgot that steam was in USD. Oh well, my other points still stand :P
Deal was from Aus paypal.
Westfield shipping cost from Westfield online shopping. Must be registered post so have proof of deliver.
This is offer who Still desperate to buy and do not have time to go Westfield.
Why someone is so desperate for a non-discounted gift card while he has the same amount of cash/credit in his bank/credit card?
Westfield are terrible. Even buying their gift cards at Woolworths they charge an extra $5.95 on top of the face value.
I think not every one has car to go Westfield to buy gift card for Christmas. And woolworth charge $5.95 fees and Westfield online$2.95. So consider others who can not make shopping for Christmas can buy simply this gift card.
What are you on about? They still need to go to the Post Office to sign for it.
I think if you home they need your sign so make sure deliver safe.
This deal came from Aus paypal. Not usa paypal.
I don't understand why people can not encourage to put deal on. This is use it or loose it ,so sorry I did not save much. At least I put affort for it
No bargain here
Give someone $50 cash and tell them to spend at a place of their choice is better than this deal and less hassle. I realise that it is a "Gift card" but spending the same to get the same value in a form of a gift card is not a bargain and definitely there are better options to avoid the "fee".
This deal can actually be useful for those who require minimum spend on their credit cards for, lets say, new customers bonus offer. Since there is no fee, you are practically exchanging cash with cash equivalent. Also, Westfield gift cards are accepted at a lot of stores nowadays, so the spending options is still quite good.
So…. Not paying $55.95 to give someone $50 is something Ozbargainers need to be encouraged to do?
