Ive got a set of Crescent sockets from Bunnings. Lifetime wty yadda yadda………. damn things are bloody good.

Used them to replace my clutch twice! (had to yank the gearbox off again as I slipped the thrust bearing off the first time , dont ask) the 2nd time it was even harder as I loaded the bolt threads with loctite, and 2nd gearbox removal was 24+ hrs later/
Not a slip from the rachets and the sockets held perfectly , I used a 750mm braker bar on the 17mm cradle bolts and I thought that the socket was gonna split, held on with no issue.

If the screwdrivers are 1/2 the quality of the sockets they are well worth the buy.

  • The 5 drill bits are all the same size which I thought was weird. The 2 precision screwdrivers in this kit are excellent as well.

Yeah they looked the same but can't make out specifics of any sizes etc from the images on Masters website. Got it anyway to replace a random assortment of bashed up screwdrivers.

      • The driver bits are P2

        5 x Phillips #2 bits 50mm

There's no handle in the set that will take them so safe to assume they're intended for an impact driver/cordless drill. P2 is the most common size and they'll snap and/or wear so it's handy to have spares

        • Thanks…that's the size I use for 90% of stuff.

  • Crescent used to be the best brand for screwdrivers when I was a kid; are they still considered good (ie. better than Stanley etc.)?
