This is a really good local price for the Nikon D7100, I've been looking around and haven't found anything better so far. The $100 cashback for this item ends 10th of January so waiting for a better deal may be playing a dangerous game. The sale on this ends tomorrow.
DWI is supposedly a great store, I just ordered a lens at a very cheap price from there on the recommendation of a professional photographer friend. I tried to pricematch with 10 different B&M stores and they couldn't even come close. Keep in mind, it's a grey import store that doesn't come with an official warranty, as far as I've been informed. Local stores will provide the easiest support and warranties, which in my opinion is worth an extra couple hundred dollars when you're spending close to $1000 on a camera you want to last for years (keep in mind if something goes wrong with your item, you may have to spend $$$ to ship it to be fixed). But definitely, that's a great price from a recommended grey importer :)
That's not local Australian stock with Australian warranty though.

Rumor is the 7200 isn't far…All major US stores have dropped prices on this model. Still a good price for anyone looking for one.
Buyer be aware of JB and other store retail tactics at this kind of time. I just went into Westfield centre point. Many product are way over priced. Even after the 15% off, it's still too expensive.
Even grey import stores are barely beating the price. I'm not sure where you're finding D7100s locally (or even internationally with shipping) with warranty for cheaper than this any other time of year. Pretty sure this is one of the cheapest prices ever. :)
Well for this particular product may be. I was just saying in general. I was looking at buying an A7 and JB is surly way over priced. Jut telling people to be careful and not to suck up by discounts. I have seen them do this a few times during product price update.
