you can try returning and purchasing the item again. not sure how rebels would respond. would depend how old your receipt is probs.
Looks like it's 20% off full priced items, not sale items.
Some prices don't show up until you click on the item.
Not on fangear which is disappointing.
Damn. Only reason I joined. Was after some wallabies gear :(
was looking to get one of the weight sets but the price increased…
Not available on gift card purchases? But I still haven't used my $40 cards from Uncle Rupert :S
What a joke. What difference does it make cash or gift card?!
what are you talkign about? i used my gift cards at doncaster
I have been waiting for a sale to use my gift card as well :-) Thanks OP! Picked up a nice Reebok polyester/spandex running top for $8 after the gift card and 20% off. Price on the label was $60.
rebel is extremely sneaky. they don't actually state on the page that it is on the original price (not discounted price), which actually makes no difference (compared to the existing sales) - the only reason for the "one day" offer is to increase customer traffic…
i went in today to get some garmin vivofits (with HRM) - prior to the sale, they were selling these at $129 (discounted from $159). after the so called 20%, it came down to $127.20… which isn't much of a difference compared to JB Hifi!
staff weren't very helpful as well -
- failed to explain what the discount was on (the first one told me it was on already discounted prices), then i saw another contact the office after getting into an argument with a customer
- staff didn't listen to me… i requested for purple and explained i couldn't find any on the rack, but i saw one in the cabinet - they continued looking for it on the rack (mind you there were only like 8 pieces on the rack)…i went and bought the vivofit, and they said its 20% off RRP or whatever the existing sale price is. so xmas catalogue shows it at $94, so i bought it at $94 - which was better than the 20% RRP storewide sale.
this was doncaster.
Got to agree about the staff helpfulness or lack thereof.
The sale is decent on non-sale items (such as Micro Scooters which I've been searching for - thanks OP!), but do yourself a favour and skip the 20m checkout queue and the sight of staff walking around and talking in pairs whilst customers rummage through stock unassisted seeking answers. Sign up online and have some transparency about actual final pricing, even if it means paying $5+ more for shipping…
Also - remember to use CashRewards for 7.5% cashback.
Might have spoken too soon. Have been trying to process a purchase on their slow as sh17e website for the past four hours, but the sale keeps timing out and rejecting despite trying it on three different devices and browsers.
Seem to remember the same difficulties when they had their winter sale a few months ago. In conjunction with their underwhelming service in-store, their online presence is distinctly underwhelming…
Online orders seem to be working now.
Yep. Got my order through via IPad about 20 mins ago, just as I was starting to get nervous about the looming midnight deadline.
Wasn't able to use my gift card though, it kept coming up as unrecognised, despite only being purchased a fortnight ago via Sphere Rewards. So perhaps they're not eligible for this sale as others have variously claimed - at least not online…
@PiperTard: I was able to use my gift card as well as get the 7.5% cashback from CashRewards.
I've purchased shoes from this store using my 28degrees card with shoppers protection. Would i be able to claim 20% off if my item was $159.99 i.e claim $31 dollars back?
