I have the XU1 from a few years ago and that never held charge.
I got the cheapo Aldi one for $9.99 on sale (from $19.99) and it's been solid for over 2 years now, charge holds for ages even under some torture it was never designed for. Best 10 bucks I've ever spent.
I will never buy another cordless tool with a NiCd battery. They are just awful even in a basic cordless screwdriver. They will be dead just a few days after full charge sitting on the shelf, will rundown very quickly while using.
Thebarton SA store need some training. Wouldn't give me a free funnel (claimed I had to buy oil), didn't know about the tyre shine email promo <<3 cans for $5.92>> (had to work through 4 staff members before the assistant manager looked it up on his phone for me, then manually marked them down), didn't have the 2 for $1 buckets out on the floor. Cashier made me out to be a scab - Really average all round…….
the funnel may be the best thing in this deal!
