      Have they shipped the book? Usually if it's not shipped you can open the order in your account and cancel it.

        In transit, i just asked now, reply was "I am sorry, but we are not able to apply new discounts on previously purchased items."

        Yes my experience is you can always cancel orders with status 'not yet shipped', and you do not incur any charges for cancellation

      just chat with Amazon customer service, you may get a refund, I just did that (but my order was not shipped yet)

          If order not shipped yet, you can cancel and reorder to get the credit on that order.

          If status has passed 'not yet shipped', you are relying I think on their goodwill to give any credit

        Yes because the book is available elsewhere for $140. With an unrestricted 30% saving Amazon would have been cheapest.

    LOL, discovered that the Amex free shipping promo is applied ahead of this one, so I managed to get the free shipping on $100.75 worth of books, and then discount applied (unfortunately only $4.64 based on the books I wanted) for a total of $96.03 for 7 books and 1 toy.

    Prices were all better than booko before discount and shipping too. Stoked!
