30

Found this offer from Agoda.com after searching for some rooms in Oz but no luck for me, might be handy for those looking for rooms in Oz or abroad, their prices seem fair, here's some info about the offer from the website,

"Book a hotel on any Agoda site and pay using Paypal between 23 September 2009 and 30 September 2009 and receive $50 cash back into your PayPal account when your booking value is $200 or greater. Limited to the first 800 eligible bookings. Limited to one cash back per eligible booking. All eligible bookings will receive their $50 cash back into their PayPal accounts by 31 October 2009." cheers

  • Be nice to know if you are in top 800 before placing booking instead of just luck, seems like BS to me although i am pretty skeptical

Good point (above) however there is a 24/7 online chat service so you can check with them first before making your booking. Note: it's $200 USD. Hope that helps! good deal, but options are limited.

    • Thanks for that, confirmed booking must be paid in USD to qualify, also paypal will tell you the conversion rate before you confirm payment. Still good deal considering their prices are already pretty good.

I called them and they said they would post a notice on the site if the 800 booking threshold had been crossed.

Have booked with them many times in the past (at really good prices) and never had an issue.

    • Great Stuff!

  • today is the last day people. i chat with their 24/7 helpdesk and they say $50 cashback is still on

  • I get an error when trying to pay by paypal last night and today. it says:

"We are unable to pre-authorize your credit card. Please ensure that the information provided (card number, expiration date, security code) is correct. Please re-enter your credit card details or contact our customer services for assistance."

For some reasons, the site is not transferring me to Paypal login screen as it should, and it goes straight to the error messages above…
Anyone tried to book something today?

It definitely still working about 2 days ago. Are they trying to discourage people from booking by Paypal?
