Just purchased SC2 through the Battle.net app, was e-mailed the invoice but it's not showing up for me on the app. Still says I need to buy the game. Guess I have to contact their support.
Their response to purchases is slow. I bought a month on wow a few weeks ago and it took maybe 10-15 minutes to register

Yeah I've restarted the app a few times. Still not coming up for me.
I bought the D3 expansion a few months ago and that come up instantly for me in the app. Want to check my battle.net account but I'm at work and my authenticator is at home.
I'll give it a bit longer and see if it decides to come up on its own.
They really are a terrible company to deal with if you buy something and it doesn't unlock.
I bought the naxxramus expansion for hearthstone like 6 weeks ago and it didn't unlock properly and they basically said, this is a known problem with our store and we are working on it.
No updates have been forthcoming. No manual fix. No accountability. Talk to the GMs and they actively ignore your requests for refunds and then begrudgingly shift into discouraging you from refunding and tell you stuff like you are only permitted one refund per account.
Fast forward to now, a bunch of people (a continuously growing amount of people) continue to have nothing for their $25 but they have our money, they have nobody bringing a dispute over them (will probably lock battlenet if you do) and they haven't done anything.
I thought it was bad for me - there are people who have been locked out of the hearthstone shop for 5 months.
Yeah there's one thread on the battle.net forums that had 279 pages of people having problems when trying to buy Naxxramus, they eventually closed the thread even though many people are still having problems-
@LordRichington: Logged on battle.net at home over lunch. It's got SC2 in my account as the retail edition. Downloaded the installer from there and ran it, which gives me SC2 in the battle.net app but the background pic says Starcraft II Starter Edition. Once I download it, I'll check it out and see if it unlocks to the full version.
All working now, ended up getting Swarm as well and it downloaded fine through the app.
Great price for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, but the Deluxe version is a rip off!

Big W still has Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty and Heart of Swarm for $10 each if you can find any store that has stock.

Do you need the first Startcraft 2 to get the second? Why would I buy both?
Yes you need Wings of Liberty as that is the base game and Heart of the Swarm is the expansion. However Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void is going to debut as a standalone game if you wanted to wait it out.
Darn, didn't realise Legacy of the Void of a standalone..otherwise I wouldn't have got a 2nd copy of HotS…

If you're planning to get sc2… since you've already waited this long you may as well wait for the third "expansion" legacy of the void which will be a standalone game. The current state of the game is awful. Protoss and terran is disgustingly OP. Long live my Zerg brethrens may the swarm be with you. #daedgaem

THis is true but only for multiplayer, if you want to still follow the story/enjoy the singleplayer, $12 bux is pretty good :)
SP story is the only reason am buying the SC2 HOS for :)
