I've got a high quality vector PDF of the page in question (I only posted a screenshot of the voucher above). There's nothing on the page that says a printout wouldn't be accepted, although I have my doubts.

just rang one of those stores…they say they only accept hard copy of the newspaper..
i went today and my sepia printout was unacceptable.
I got the offer as soon as it was out before the rest of you gave your cautions.
yep, I went to BP with the printout and they said no they want the "original"! :)

Just an update… I printed the coupon with a colour laser printer onto butcher's paper (very similar to newspaper), making it pretty hard to distinguish between the copy and the real deal (well, except that there's nothing on the back). It was accepted without question… I feel like a counterfeiter. :P
(Edit: Just realised if I wanted to go one step further I could have printed double sided, with the next page on the back side.)
I wonder if the ACCC or NSW Fair Trading would have something to say about BP not accepting printouts, considering that there's nothing about that in the terms and conditions.

LOL, well I already I had the colour laser printer and the butcher's paper, so it's not like I went to any additional trouble here — all I did was click "print" on my computer! I was just giving a heads up to anyone who might want to have a go too. :)
I went to two servos in Sydney today, Canterbury and Sydnham and both car washes were closed to maintenance.Grrrr!!! If I could change my vote to negative I would. Bloody scammers!!!
Got mine yesterday @ Albany Creek.. had to wait a little while. If anyone is interested a mega wash takes about 6 mins, multiple that by the number of cars waiting in front of u and you know how long you'll be waiting :)

Hornsby BP (Northern Sydney) says "Carwash not workings" written by hand by the only INDIAN working at the servo.
