      After 2 months complaining, DS say they will send me a $10 Gift Card for the one they failed to send! They said they had refunded my purchase weeks ago, but never did. I won't hold my breath. But just received invoice for 'web' Gift Card.

      I'm missing a step I think - how do you get from a 5% discounted Everyday wish card to Dick Smith?

      The CHANGHONG 40" TV is down to $332.21, so less the 10 and $300 in gift cards makes a decent discount today.

        By buying a Woolies Gift or eGift Card first. Buy a card at 5% off, then use when buying deals like this, by entering Gift Card code at purchase.

          It's not listed, but accepted. Left over from days when Woolies owned DS.

          But refunds are much more difficult (see my comment above, paid by Woolies Gift Card). Refund can't be made back to Woolies Gift Card, and has been refunded as DS Gift Card which is not accepted at Woolies! PayPal is safest.

        YEAH! I just saw that on eBay! Nice one… but of course who can ever believe RRPs or eBay prices ;)

        Not exactly the type of thing I would buy for myself however I have a friend who's been looking for an inexpensive hassle-free Bluetooth device that includes a simple FM receiver… and this is perfect for her! There's hardly anything else available that includes Bluetooth & FM, it's either uber-cheap stuff that sounds pretty poor or stuff worth many hundreds. Fingers crossed this thing sounds OK but I'd say it'll be good enough for her ;) Thanks again!

    Wow prices have been raised big time on the DSE web site. Even with the discounts the prices are awful. The reason people would put up with unreliable service and cancelled orders is the occasional deep discount. There's an air of desperation about the company. I wouldn't be surprised if they were in deep trouble.

      Just collected my RAR SoundPlate this afternoon. Very very impressive for $60-$70… 'pretty good' for $99 but I wouldn't ever pay much more than about $120 for one TBH. Very good just not 'great' and definitely not worth $200.
