  • ordered one!!

  • compatible with sony z ultra?

    other brand ?> other phone?

    • theres a thread on XDA about the unit and its compatibility with other phones
      have a read http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/accessories/xiaomi-m…

      • Nice!

      • thx maty

    • Yes, the Xiaomi Mi Band is compatible with any Android 4.4 (or above) cellphones.
But the "wake up cellphone without password" function only woks at Xiaomi cellphone.

  • Bought one with postnl registered post. Thanks.

  • Guarantee original rep?

    • i believe these units have only recently been released by Xiaomi. i highly doubt the clones have hit the market yet ….

    • Yes. If you found it fake or knock-off. You can ask for full refund.

  • here is a positive review i found http://www.gizchina.com/2014/11/03/review-xiaomi-mi-band-bas… i dont know if the poster is affiliated with XIOAMI.

Reading up on other wearable devices, this cheap alternative seems to tick all the right boxes and does pretty much the same without making a huge dent in your wallet.

  • Any hope for iOS app???

    • Sorry. Not compatible with IOS system.

  • bought one for myself and the mrs. reviews seem pretty good, now we wait for delivery.

  • ETA to Aus rep? 2 weeks?

    • When you buy it has the approx shipping. 15-30 free postage. Other paid options available for quicker shipping

    • I paid the extra 55c to hopefully get it a bit quicker.

      • haha, same. i think that option was 7-15 days.

  • Does this work with any apps besides the Xiaomi one?

  • Anyone downloaded the app and succeed in creating an account/registering? I can't seem to be able set up an account -doing it by email is supposed to be the better way, but I can't find the email method.

    • +1

Best instructions for registration and setup here:
      http://meizufans.eu/forum/thread-xiaomi-mi-band
-this site includes a link which can be used to register by email rather than mobile number.

      http://forums.techdiscussion.in/showthread.php/4138-How-to-c…

When binding the device to your phone, you need to use the international version of your mobile number eg:
0405123456 becomes +61405123456, otherwise you will keep getting the invalid number format error. Once it works you will receive the validation code by SMS and you should be able to proceed to register/login.
You go through a similar verification process to set up the cloud data for you fitness stats backup.

  • Has anyone that ordered the shipment via PostNL got their parcel?

My PostNL order went to NL before making its way to Aus (still on the way). I was wondering if regular air mail would have had came directly from China; thus making it faster than PostNL.

    • I haven't gone home to check it yet. But online tracking tells me that it has arrived in Australia today. So if needs to clear customs, etc. I expect I might get it next week as I'm in Darwin…

      • mine states it arrived in Australia today as well

        • same as mine, it shows as arrived in Australia this arvo.

I wonder how long will it take to get delivered. An item I bought 2 weeks ago arrived last week, ie 7 days delivery from China. I expected registered mail (PostNL) to arrive just as quick…. looks like I was wrong.

        • @hammer5215:
          finally got here

  • Good to see it arrive safely, if slowly after four weeks. Just curious if received by Nsw yet.. .
Concept of 30d battery and wearing item permanently, is appealing

    Couple outstanding points;
    1. I don't suppose a recent user will have compared result/performance against a fit bit, or other smart-piece like LG watch ?
    2. Anybody confirm Xiaomi repaired glitch where deep sleep tracking could be a bit inaccurate jumbled with awake time, found in October http://www.fonearena.com/blog/118121/xiaomi-mi-band-review.h… under Performance.

I'll likely try one anyway, Thanks

  • Oh! finally someone received the parcel :D
I'm in Brisbane and I'm still waiting for me……

  • someone has tweaked the ios version translated it to english. available for jailbreak only. I installed the ipa on my iphone 6 using ifunbox and it works. Just thought I would let iOS users incase they were interested.

Discussion is on the link below with a link to the English iOS version
    http://en.miui.com/thread-67809-4-1.html

  • Im waiting on mine as well

    • Update: Still waiting on mine.

  • Mine arrived yesterday in the mail. Picked it up from the post office today. Will crack it open after work.

  • Confirm receipt in NSW please, someone.

I'd like order a CHEAP sleep tracker
but pesky customs n paypal disputes.

  • still waiting on mine too. but just saw that the mi band app is now officially translated to english in theios app store
