  • Get rid of the $40 Boost credit!

Though this deal is still more expensive than the BigW and Woolies' recent deals

If they could sell the phone for $49 without the Boost starter pack, then it'd be cheaper than the previous deal.

No chance of that happening though. The starter pack isn't worth $40 - it's $20 at most, seeing as that's the price it often goes for.

Also saw it at JB hifi macarthur central Brisbane CBD

  • Its a nationwide deal.

  • bought this phone from woolworths for $39, cant use youtube, keeps on freezing…

cant really compare the price, but i thought the technology should be at least as good as iphone 4, which was released 4 years ago…

Sounds like the user is the problem, phone works fine with youtube

      • nope, uninstalled/reinstalled app, it still crashes…

    • You definitely can use YouTube with it fluidly. Try myTube if you want a great app to navigate YouTube with or perform a hard reset / pursue support if you are still having non-PEBKAC issues.

Didn't know there was a JB hifi store at Homebush DFO? did you mean JBHifi HOME??

I got one of the Woolworths phones for $39.95 . It is a massive step up from the Huawei y201 and I quite like it. For everything I want to do the phone is fast enough, Windows phone makes sense and you get Nokia turn by turn navigation. There's no downside for the price.

  • that phone sold out so quickly, people are making a profit from selling it online! wonder if Woolies staff may have bought it and got their friends to sell it for a profit?? same goes with the BigW one day sale

  • Boost now uses the Telstra 3G Mobile Network. I had to remind myself of this as I was about to grab one and try to use it with my Amaysim (Optus network) card.
