Every weekend Wine-market send me a sales ad by email, whose price as I compare with other wine shop, cheaper but not always great deals.

This weekend's special is Marqués de Caranó Reserva 2009 - the thing special about it is that I couldn't find it in any other wine stores to compare with, so I had to compare with UK/US price, which suggests A$84 for 12-bottles delivered is a great deal. I never bought Spanish wine before, also curious how good is this. Anyway I post it here and welcome comments.

  If it were a Rioja reserva at this price I'd be all over it. Not sure how good the wines from Aragon are.

  I had it as part of the winemarket bundle deal … I wasn't impressed at all.

  Winemarket deals are almost always just worth the "heavily discounted" price - so no need to get too excited. Occasionally they have a $25 off voucher and/or free shipping and then it's pretty tempting & some good deals can be had.
