    These are different though aren't they. Your back beats have to have a phone to link to via Bluetooth.
    These are simply an mp3 music player, no phone needed and you can swim with them.
    8 hours playback beats the plantronics too

      i have galaxy gear and will stream mp3 from it to my backbeat while jogging

  Damn, brought this yesterday with the previous deal for $59. This deals is even better, but I did manage to grab the last one from my local shop. No need to travel too far or pay shipping, so not too bad either.

  Excellent sounds, quite comfortable, lots of ear bud choice (4 pairs for normal use, and 4 pairs for water sport use). Compairing to the old version (non-waterproof) the only downside is that the charger is now unique (non-contact-charging). So, if this charger fails you don't have many other options.

  DS only has black ones on their website and the local store I went to. However, really love the blue one.

  Please remember not to use it in salt water. This will damage the charging port. And do choose a ear bud that will fit perfectly, make a lot difference when you swimming. I use different size bud for each ear, for many people this will be normal so don't worry. Comfort is a must

      I heard you can swim in chlorinated pools, but not in salt water.

      to be honest, I don't really know. And I wouldn't really want to find out. However based on chemistry, the salt will corrode the charging plate and leave it unable to recieve charge. Just a guess

  Only 3.5GB capacity! No fast forward or rewind and it's a bit uncomfortable but hopefully I can get used to it.
