Disappointing - your basic cover doesn't include car rental excess cover.
I recently purchased basic travel insurance for my wife and child (domestic trip) and it came to $36 ($33 with promo code) and was comparable to your basic cover (~$44) but also included $4000 car rental excess cover. |
Which to be honest is the main reason I bought it since it's only a domestic trip.I shopped around and every company I quoted with did include some rental excess cover.
Have you watched any insurance ads lately? They seem to be everywhere. Now for a distinctly boring and unsexy product, they sure do help the customer by giving a price example, something comparative to work out what kind of bargain their product may be? Would that be worth doing here?
