Before it's asked… yes, you can crack these open and use them in a NAS. I run six of these exact drives in my NAS and they've all been working perfectly for over 10 months. I have another two in another NAS and have helped friends & family build NAS boxes with many of these too and they've all been fine. $160 is a pretty good price for local stock, Nice OP!
