    Yep the 48" sony was a special world cup edition tv. Nothing special other than branding and a "football" button on the remote that messes with your picture and sound settings.

    It's a great tv though- bought it for $700 from the good guys recently using one of the ebay sales.
    Got a $55 VEEC rebate from the vic government too making it a mega bargain at $645.
