How is this price better than sydney market's (Fleminton/paddy's market) price
A couple of reasons for me.
The local Aldi is a 10 minute drive, rather than 10 hour return trip to Sydney.
I can pick them up when I'm doing my weekly shop, wasn't planning to go to Flemington.
Don't have to park at Flemington and battle my way through the crowds.

Yes, they are Kensington Pride. Got one pack but sold out when I went back for more.
Got Box of mango (18) from Colonial Fresh Markets (Doncaster VIC) for $20. Bigger than Aldi's pack of 6.
Aldi one is just small. Same as kcyw, if you live close to Fountain Gate (VIC), we prefer to get the one from the fruit shop in front (u need to buy a box though for cheaper rate)
Got one from Aldi Caroline Springs - still really green but, $4.99 for 6; I'll wait for it to ripe at home ;)
Tip from a former fruiter.
Don't buy green mangos, there's a good chance, I'd say 50% chance, you'll have them soften without going yellow. Soft sour mangos is sad. Go for semi yellow if you can.

Not all varieties go yellow.
Plenty of good, ready to eat mango's are green.

Purchased a tray of 22 Kensington Pride mango from local fruit shop for $24.50. Excellent eating!!!
