    Nice.

Actually there are two active codes at the moment:
    SAVINGS20
    SPREETS20

I have just used both to buy 2 deals (Kobe Jones melbourne & the Marble cookware 14 pieces set).

  • +1

    Combines the two discounts
You will get 29.6% off instead of 32%

    • you get 12% off the total amount, not discounted amount with the cashback, or at least that was discussed in a previous Living social deal

Cashrewards have been recording post-discount figures for me.

        • Me too. Last time only got the discount amount.

@easternculture: That's eBay with their eBay Partners program. With LivingSocial they are going through a normal affiliate network which count the commission from the final transaction amount.

        • @scotty:

          ah ok, thanks scotty

        • @easternculture:

Lol there goes me giving bad advice again!

For those in Melbourne, this Froyo deal is very good.
    • $10 worth of frozen yoghurt for $5
    • $20 worth of frozen yoghurt for $10

They got us hooked when they were giving out froyo for free.

    • Thanks Neil - well spotted. Got $20 worth of FroYo for $8 = bargain.

  • There's a MacBook deal on in the Sydney area, is that also included in the 12% cashback?

    • max savings is $40, I can't see how it's going to be a good deal. You might as well wait for another DSE 10%~15% off Mac deal.

      • $40 plus 12% cash back from cashrewards.

      • The price is already discounted ($1200 or something) for a 1.8ghz processor 13 inch air, with 256 GB SSD…

        • 726 $ for a 128gb 11 inch ex demo ? i will pass

  • what? just bought deal last nite with max saving only $30. oh lost my tenner

  • anybody has experience with car washes they are offering ? theres one in burwood and one in castle hill , nsw

    • Some discussion on the burwood one here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/166672
Pretty terrible reviews in general. I have been there without a voucher and they ripped me off. With a voucher, the experience was … well… ok, I guess, a car wash is a car wash…

you know what I did? always check the company's website first before committing to buy any deal, from ANY deal websites.
the same as hotel promo from hotels.com, booking.com, webjet or whatever just make sure you go to the hotel website and make dummy booking to compare prices

      • i learned the hard way, was quick to pull a trigger on something that had an amazing deal on the voucher. When i checked the website, the 'deal' price was almost the same as the standard pricing… the price listed as the 'standard' price was so inflated to make it sound like a good deal.

    • I just came back from Maya, the food is consistently good.
with 20% & 12%, it's worth it if you go there without voucher.

  • Hi, I've got a question for those from Sydney. Iwas looking at the Sydney deal and I was wondering if the hotel is in a good location/near the city etc for tourists? Thanks :)

Hmm not really, it's in Kings Cross. Hardly "the heart of Sydney".
If you are into drunken nights then it's for you.

  • I will never buy from this organisation again. First clue, they do not have an email address. Second clue, they don't have local representation. I am still waiting for my ASICS sneakers and was told to be patient because they are coming from USA. Never again!
