    This is a good deal if you buy via scoopon, this is the ONLY way I would attend this car wash.

    I feel that these guys a little bit dubious re: pricing tactics for walk in customers, no prices are displayed. My car was vandalised (egged) and I went there on the spur of the moment, they charged me $150 which was the 'morning special' seeing as no other cars were there.

    Later, many cars began arriving, all using the scoopon special. Spoke to another customer who could not believe I paid $150 - 'impossible', he said! I was extremely put out but I accept it was my own fault for agreeing to the inflated price.

    I later took a 2nd car to the same car wash using the scoopon special and they gave it the same standard of cleaning that I paid $150 for. Expensive lesson learnt…

      That's terrible to hear and im sorry that has happened for you!

      RE: pricing, if you walk towards the doors to get into the building they actually have all the prices listed on a big black board, they will also tick this invoice sheet prior to taking your keys to tell you how much each service cost etc

        No worries, it's ok now. I tend to get quite stressed and anxious and being a female arriving at this car wash with an egged car, I can't help but wonder if they took advantage of my situation at the time.

        But I will still probably use this LivingSocial deal to mitigate my $150 car wash :) throwing good money after bad? meh… it will all even out.

        So are you actually a store rep?

        PS. You're right, I meant I would only attend this car wash through coupon deals like Scoopon, Groupon, LivingSocial etc.

      Yeah. I went there on a coupon and they did a really bad job. I'm sure my 5 year could do better.

      When I confronted them about it they said what did I expect for such a cheap price. Coupon company didn't want to know, they said as long as the job was done (no matter how bad) there was nothing I could do.

          Good Deal Guarantee talks about unredeemed vouchers. In the example above, there was a disconnect in expectation between the customer and staff at the carwash. What avenue do we have to assure ourselves that the level of service is the same regardless of whether we pay the board price or whether we use the cheaper vouchers?
