  • Beware lobster Mac and cheese recipe. My husband and I made this. Spent about $150 for the lobster. The sauce that you make is far too spicy and has too many strong ingredients to use with such a delicate flavour. The portion sizes for this were also huge.

      Nothing against you guys voteoften, but recipes like that are a classic example of why I can't stand this indolent Oliver nonce.

      I don't know why someone would neg you for warning us, but thanks for the heads-up; too many people blithely follow TV 'chef' (I use that term loosely here) recipes & often find that the outcomes do not match the expectations. As you rightly point out, if the recipe involves expensive ingredients, then it's not fair to punters.
