Harvey Norman Warrnambool are selling 3TB Western Digital Elements HDDs for $139. Packaging on some look damaged. Looks more clearance than a sale.
There looked to be 15 or so of them.

That looks a lot like old stock. It's USB 2.0.
Officeworks are doing the new WD Elements 3TB (USB 3.0) for $139, which is better as it uses the My Book design with better cooling.

For a hard drive, I wouldn't buy one with damaged packaging, as it would indicate physical mistreatment of some kind (bad for such a sensitive product).
Particularly since you could get it for $103.55 only a month ago:

Offer them $90, if you want to chance it.
Not exactly a bargain, that's the normal price for the USB 3.0 version at several outlets, including MSY.

Was $249….. trololololololol. Silly HN
$129 at Umart

Then another 5% for LPG at OfficeWorks brings it to $122.55
Only good if you're in the state where a Umart store is located.
None in WA, and after shipping, it would end up as more than Officeworks.
USB 2.0 and WD Green drives, which lead notoriously short lives.
Thanks OP.
Price is too high. Concur with others.
Always good to check static ice first to get an idea of prices.
