    No Return Basis Product

    The term no return basis means that, unless the product is dead on arrival, damaged in transit, incorrectly shipped or otherwise returnable under:

    • a Harris Technology Extended Warranty, manufacturer’s warranty or other contract or statute, or
    • statutory warranty (e.g. if the product is faulty, does not match a description or sample, is unfit for purpose or unmerchantable), the product will not be accepted for return.

    I'm guessing if it breaks down in 3 months it would be covered under manufacturer's warranty if there's any of it left. One could also argue on the merchantable quality of the item if it breaks down so soon.

    You always have statutory rights, though that doesn't spare you any difficulties dealing with businesses that don't want to honour them.

    However, given that Harris Technology is a reasonably large chain owned and operated by another large chain, it should hopefully be considerably more productive dealing with them if the need arises.

    Know your rights and relevant office of fair trading/consumer protection.

  You have to be careful posting up HT clearnce stock, quite often there is only 1 or 2 of said item in stock. They are selling off ex-return/demo.

  Still a good deal if you get one…..

    Lol, ok change that, I wasn't able to get one after all. Even though my order went through at the time, just got an email saying that there actually wasn't any stock left after all.

  Got a call from HT said it was sold out when I order it. So they have canceled the order.
  When I ask why does it allow me to order online when it was sold they, he replied, oh, we have to update the stock manually.

    Actually when ordering it did warn you in red colour writing that stock may not be available for this item and that if you order, someone will call you to confirm availability…

    when i read that i stopped and called first rather than wasting my time continuing with the order process and getting my hopes up.
