I'm definitely going to use this pass. Belair and Morialta are quite convenient for those living in or around Adelaide. Belair has lovely picnic and family areas, whereas Morialta has hikes of varying difficulty to some nice waterfalls. Deep Creek and Innes are also very beautiful but are a bit further out of Adelaide, on the tips of the Fleurieu and Yorke Peninsulas respectively.
I looked them all up on the National Parks SA website. If anyone is curious, here are the links:
Belair National Park
Morialta Conservation Park
Para Wirra Recreation Park
Deep Creek Conservation Park
Ngarkat Conservation Park
Mount Remarkable National Park
Flinders Ranges National Park
Gawler Ranges National Park
Coffin Bay National Park
Lincoln National Park
Innes National Park
Bool Lagoon Game Reserve and Hacks Lagoon Conservation ParkWhat part of Morialta park requires payment? Family said it used to charge a fee, but doesnt now??
I have a feeling you only have to pay if you want to use the upper carpark. You can park at the bottom of the road - just outside the park itself - for free, and just walk the rest of the way.
Anything that encourages getting kids outdoors (and thus preventing them from becoming Ozbargain addicts like us) is a good thing!
Does it have an expiree date? Would definitely like to check out some of these parks
Also known as expiry.
Sorry i cant find any mention at all i would assume being that it has come out now it would be current for at least the school holidays.
Great find
That's awesome - Thanks OP! Heading to Wilpena Pound and Flinders Ranges in about 4 weeks time from Qld so have printed one of these beauties off. The money saved can go towards a flight over the pound!
Thanks!
My Wife will be impressed when I suggest this to her tonight.
Brilliant! Now surely I have no excuse not to go camping again down at Deep Creek. Many thanks OP.
How about NA,WA, QL or NS?
In SA we don't get anything! We finally have something and want it all to ourselves! I'll swap free entry to conservation parks for your water bills!!
Ha ha no thanks
but you get 10c per empty bottle too! We don't!
Forgot thatWhich is factored into the sale price. Still a great thing and a shame its not nationally done.
I can;t speak for all of them, but I know at least a couple of those parks don't have an entry fee anyway…
All the ones on that list, that I checked are meant to cost. Maybe you have gone in thinking you were allowed for free but you were meant to pay at the front somewhere?
I was under the impression the national parks are free to use for all members of our nation anyway?
Nope
this aint america super dre
Innes national park. I've been going there for many years paying the fee so this is a nice little freebie! Cheers op!
Best thing about this deal is there is no date on the voucher!
Make sure you have few hard copies in your dash board!!!!
I've printed at least 70 of them and I will be using until I am 70!!!!! No expiry GREAT DEAL!!!! This deal should be awarded THE best bargain of SA!!!!!!!!
So much for saving trees :)
Just save the pdf to your computer, no need to print them all.
Or print once then photocopy!
Just don't go to Belair today otherwise it'll be a bit smokey
How much do they normally charge to park your car?
They seem to range from $5 to $12 from the ones I was looking at.
How much do they normally charge to park your car?
It's not for parking, it's for entry to the national park.
It says free vehicle entry in the title?
Do they generally charge per person on top of a car charge?
Or will this get the entire family in for free? It's usually just 'per car' no extra for people
Up to eight people per car
This is a good deal, but just keep in mind the money you would otherwise pay is for the up-keep of the park, so it is for a good cause.
The pay station at the entry to Morialta has been "out of order" for at least two years now. Used to be you had to pay at the entrance and display the ticket on your dash, or receive a warning (followed by a fine, I assume - only ever received a warning once). Wonder if this means they'll be fixing it up and monitoring it again?
Worth noting that some conditions and an expiry date have now been added in regard to this deal.
Passes must be printed and presented with a Nature Play SA passport. Limit of 1 free entry/family. Valid until 30/06/2015.
What on earth is a nature play sa passport?
Thanks Jad i have updated the post. Probally still worth using at self registration points as you wouldnt leave your passport in the box.
Also here is a copy of the old voucher with no expiry and no need for the passport

Thankyou matt_will_fix_it have added to post.
I tried the original free pass at Belair Park today.
They refused to honor it.
Very typical for SA Government.
They make a promise and won't keep it.What? Really, what a joke? What was the reason???
Did you have a nature play sa passport?
